Mar 20, 2022 - Volumetric PIV System Now Operational at AMSL
A fully equipped volumetric PIV system (TSI V3V Flex) is now fully operational at AMSL. The V3V is capable of both 2D and 3D measurement of the experimental test section, providing high-resolution spatial and temporal data for both the flow around the sensor and in-lab-developed structural platforms. This unique facility was set up via financial support from Army Research Office/Office of Naval Research (#W911NF-19-1-0500). Credit goes to Ms. Nazanin Minaian, a PhD graduate student at AMSL.
