Mar 20, 2016 - Spring 2016: AMSL Demo at SPIE, NSF Article, 3D Workshop, and Barrick Award
AMSL students gave a demonstration at EAP-in-Action (SPIE meeting in Las Vegas) about an IPMC with shape-memory effect. A featured article on Prof. Kim's PIRE activities was published on the NSF website entitled "Turnable, twistable robots" published June 15, 2016. Prof. Kim, in collaboration with Prof. Jaeyun Moon, organized a mini-workshop on "3D Manufacturing" at UNLV. Prof. Kim received the 2016 Barrick Distinguished Scholar Award in May 2016.
