Two of Kim's group PhD students, Tyler Stalbaum and Jameson Lee, received their NASA Space Grant Consortium Fellowship. On September 22, Nevada Governor Sandoval visited AMSL. Prof. Kim gave an invited talk at AFORE 2014 conference on Renewable Energy. Prof. Kim's research on surface modification techniques was covered by UNLV Research Magazine in December.
