UNLV's NSF/PIRE students along with other students from RPI, NYU, and U of Utah travelled to Japan to visit a National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) center in Osaka for collaborative research and a workshop on soft-mechatronics (hosted by Dr. Kinji Asaka of AIST).
